After having animated considerable Parisian parties and collaborated on several compilations, the enlightened collective Hot Casa launches out in the musical production. For this first opus, Franck Biyong, the cameronian guitarist and leader of the powerful Afro Beat group ' Massak', was picked out. The track ' we shall overcome' is a piece of afro beat with a spiritual vein. A scientist balance between a roots spirit carried out by a big tipycal african brass section and a subtle hypnotic rhythmic and an afro jazz instrumentation transcended by the confirmed voice of the London singer Melissa James. On the instrumental version, Olivier Emsellem shows, with a very ‘CTI’ improvisation, that he’s is one of the best specialist of the Fender Rhodes in Paris. Mission accomplished with this limited editon 7 inch (500 copies), that it will be out of stock quickly.
