Bobby Hackett and Vic Dickenson had been playing together for over ten years when this 1970 live recording was made and it shows. There are no histrionics here, but just good straight-ahead jazz played by two musicians at their peak, backed by a swinging rhythm section headed by pianist Dave McKenna.
