This record, in the jazz manouche tradition, is self-produced by Pierre 'Kamlo' Barré and it's the first of this kind at Paris Jazz Corner Productions.
In 1997, he meets the guitarist Jean-François Ruiz, from 'Latcho Drom', with which it sympathizes. Together, they create the 'Kamlo Trio'. In June 1999, Kamlo Trio released its first self-produced record: Salambô. Thereafter, Kamlo Trio organizes itself with Franck Winterstein at the guitar, and Claude sheep at the double bass to record in 2003 'lejos Semi Tierra'. Accompanied by Paul-Marie Barber at the vibraphone and Christine Chane-Khane at the accordion, this album allow us to discover the original compositions of Pierre 'Kamlo' Barré.
