The 10' original BLP-5039 has already been partly re-issued in the Blue Note Classic series (you know, the brown gatefold covers) under the reference BNLA473J2. However, one track of that mythical february 54 recording had never been issued before this Japanese re-issue.
Clifford Brown died accidently four months after this recording took place.
